Honest accounting if pledges are kept

It’s good to see that the two major-party candidates for governor agree on one thing – the need to more honestly account for state spending. The Democratic candidate, Dan Malloy, former mayor of Stamford, has taken the lead on this issue and his lieutenant governor running mate, Comptroller Nancy Wyman, has long advocated it.
